The S.P.E.A.R. Members’ Personal Updates
The S.P.E.A.R. Leadership Training Development Program is going strong. Here are a couple updates from our team members who are learning and growing in their Leadership Development. Please keep the team in your prayers for what God has in store for them.

…So many things to share and to think that we have only been here a week. Know that the Lord is moving in amazing ways. As we drive from outreach to outreach and as we drive by the Hindu temples, my heart breaks to see lines of people outside the temple waiting to go and present their offering to an idol that is not alive and has them bound! To drive by the slums and see how there are houses made of palm tree branches, some of tarps, and some of ply-wood. To look into the eyes of the children with dirt on their face and to hear their innocent voice asking with their hands open and reached out to you for money so they can get something to eat. To walk along the streets as trash is piled on the side of the roads and to hear the sound of multiple horns and to see as cars dodge one another on the road and then to took down and see two little kids playing in the ditch with trash and then to look a little further and see two small children sleeping under a flatten cardboard box. I look around and am speechless to think of where I am at, to think what do I have to offer these people that will leave an eternal effect? What I have is the Lord Jesus Christ who died and rose again and desires intimacy with each person that I come across. I have the words of eternal life upon my lips, the Spirit of the Living God within me and I have the power and authority given to me by God and to think of the ministry that He has entrusted to me do. To be His mouthpiece and declare the Gospel of the Grace of God. To be His hands that reach out and touch the lives of these people. To be His feet that go into the villages of this land. To be yielded to His spirit and to be willing for Him to manifest His life through me.
I am so blessed that the Lord has answered my prayer yet again of "Here I am, Send me!"

…So many things have occurred in this past week, and I am blessed to be able to try to describe the wonderful events. Only one shall I give full detail but know that God is moving in a powerful way, and I am only benefiting from it from the years of tilling that went on before me. This week after our few days of recovery from jet lag, we had opportunities to speak at the Bible College, prayer meetings, pastor's conference, different churches, and in a village. Each place the Lord definitely showed up and His power, and love ministered to the people. I was able to share my testimony this past Sunday. As I was sharing the Lord prompted me to share of my family background and His restoring power. As I shared I saw many girls crying, and after church was over they came to me for prayer. I came to find that many of the church members have much trouble in their homes. Praise God that He knows how to speak to the hearts of His children. And I thank Him for using such a fool as me!
