The Final Report of the S.P.E.A.R. Team
PRISCILLA PASCUAL – S.P.E.A.R. TEAM
“…To end the trip with a renewed fire for the lost souls and the reality imprinted upon my heart that "today is the day of salvation" and that we are not promised tomorrow! To live with the reality in the forefront of my mind that every person that comes into my life is for a reason and that reason is that inside of me, I carry the spirit of the Living God and on my lips I carry the words of eternal life…what will I do with it?
What an honor it was to walk through the cities of southern India and northern India! To walk and claim every place that the sole of my feet treaded upon! A blessing to look back and think of all the faces that my eyes gazed upon, to remember the hundreds of people that I laid my hands on and prayed for, to call to memory the hundreds of people that I declared His Word to and to know and be confident that they are forever changed because of the One and Living God that is faithful to His word!
I am so excited to inform you all that the Lord is leading me to lead the team this year to Israel! I will be leading the S.E.N.D. Israel team July-December with Jordan Henderson. I feel so honored to be going to this new land and to share the Love of Christ with a people who I have yet to fall in love with! Please continue to lift me up in your prayers and also as Jordan and myself begin to pray and seek the Lord's direction for this year's outreach to Israel, that we will receive all of the Lord's counsel for this country.”
All so He may be worshipped in every tongue,
Priscilla V. Pascual

JORDAN HENDERSON – S.P.E.A.R. TEAM
“…I forgot I was in India at all, not only did the surroundings change but also the people. Ministering mostly to the Buddhist Monks we found soft hearts ready to receive the gospel and wanting to know about Jesus. More than once I was faced with talking to an individual that had no idea who Jesus was and know idea what the Bible even was. Even in this closed of town were there was no meat and limited resources I was able to find a basketball court. We met several friends and was able to shine light to the younger generation even seeing one guy give his life to Jesus. That is a really a brief over view of the North the Lord did mighty things and I would love to share more with anybody that wants to now more of how the Lord worked this last month in the North.
Just as the verse says (Ezekiel 2:1-8) the Lord has fulfilled a desire of my heart and I will have the awesome opportunity of leading the 2007 team to Israel. There are huge prayer needs that the Lord is going to prove himself faithful in. I hope that each one of you will continue to wage war threw prayer as we start preparations to leave again in about 2 months. May the Lord bless each one of you!
For His glory,
Jordan Henderson

DARLENE RODRIGUEZ – S.P.E.A.R. TEAM
"Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance…there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents…for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found." Luke 15: 7, 10, 32
“…Our final two weeks of ministry was in the remote place situated in the Himalyan plateau. Here we connected with some contacts made from a previous trip, and we were able to really depend on the leading of the Holy Spirit to guide us on our everyday activities. Our days varied from having intercession on a high place next to a Buddhist prayer banner, prayer walks, carrying bricks up 3 flights of stairs to help some workers, to giving out water as an act that the people of Ladakh (Leh) would drink of the living Water of God!
On one such a day three of us met a Buddhist monk that many know as the Sprite Monk, since he starred in a Sprite commercial. After an hour or so of him telling us how he became a monk, he asked about us and our travels to Leh. We were able to share the gospel with him, and spend the next 3 days with him. After promising his family that he would be Buddhist forever, and with that a monk, he is now unable to shake the fact that the Lord gave him a vision and dream of his purpose and life as a Christian! Those 3 days were so precious as I was able to watch this guy who spent 14 years of his life searching for truth, find it! Many obstacles await him, as his decision is not minor, but will affect his family, his lifestyle, his everything…but to know that he has life and not only life but the truth that will set him free from all the bondages he had come under in his life. Those last days in Leh filled my heart with praise, joy, and tears interceding for this guy and all those lives that will be changed because of him!
As many of you have been praying, I am so excited to be really heading back to Morocco! The desire of my heart has been answered, and I am humbled to believe that I will be leading the team this year! These next 2 months will be spent in lectures where different speakers will share on leadership, and in preparing the team to go to Morocco. I am excited to see how the Lord will provide for this one, as I am totally dependent upon Him to provide all of the funds! My prayer is to continue to "Seek the Kingdom of God," knowing that when I do that the Lord WILL, "add all (relationships with friends and family, and finances) these things will be added unto you." Matthew 6:33
Resting in the Faithful One,
Darlene
